Why Choose Our Art Therapy group program?
Life can be overwhelming. Anxiety, depression, stress, moving countries or personal losses often leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others. Our Art Therapy group program offers a safe, creative space to explore emotions, reduce tension, and rediscover joy through painting and other artistic activities.
Benefits of Art Therapy
1.Express Emotions Safely
Painting helps communicate feelings without words, allowing your brain to process emotions in a constructive, less stressful way.
2.Calm the Body and Mind
Creative activities activate the parasympathetic nervous system, slowing heart rate and breathing. Focusing on colors and brush strokes works like meditation.
3.Connect with Others
Participating in group art therapy provides opportunities to connect with other members, ease loneliness, and find a supportive environment.
4.Practice Mindfulness
Art requires presence. Concentrating on your artwork keeps you in the moment, reducing anxiety about past or future events.
5.Boost Motivation and Pleasure
Completing a painting produces a sense of achievement and satisfaction, boosting dopamine and improving mood.
6.Build Confidence and Purpose
Every piece of art is a tangible result of your effort, fostering self-confidence and a sense of control.

My Story: How I Found the Healing Power of Art
I’ve always been passionate about helping people as a psychologist, supporting them through moments of anxiety, stress, and self-doubt. But like many of my clients, I also experienced the constant pressure of modern life—the racing thoughts, the never-ending to-do lists, the challenge of truly slowing down.
This summer, a friend invited me to join her painting class. Honestly, I wasn’t sure it was “my thing.” I had no background in art and didn’t think of myself as being a painter. But I am curious and creative so I decided to give it a try.
That first class changed everything.
As I dipped my brush into soft pink colours and let shapes flow freely on paper, I noticed something profound: my mind grew quiet. My breath slowed. For the first time in a long time, I was completely present. It wasn’t about creating a masterpiece—it was about feeling. The simple act of painting brought me a sense of calm and focus I hadn’t realized I was missing.
I started painting a couple of times a week. The more I painted, the more I understood the science behind what I was experiencing:
•Mindfulness in Action: Every brushstroke kept me anchored in the present.
•Stress Relief: My body relaxed, and the tension melted away.
•Emotional Expression: Colors became my words when I couldn’t find any.
•Joy and Engagement: Creating something—even imperfect—filled me with energy and motivation.
Then, it clicked.
If this practice helped me so much, how could it help my clients—people who often struggle to find peace of mind, to express emotions, to just breathe?
That’s why I decided to bring art into my therapeutic work. I designed a 10 to 20-week Art Therapy group program that combines mindfulness, creative exploration, and group support, because I know how powerful it is to feel understood and connected.
Today, I am not only a psychologist but also an enthusiastic painter. And I’m excited to share this beautiful, healing process with you.
